3. Tour South Mountain Creamery

Have littles? An overnight too much for your staycation? You don't have to go somewhere for a staycation! It is called a STAYcation! What about setting aside a few days to explore the area & sleep in your own bed? 4. Lockhouse Overnight

Take a bike ride on the C&O canal and stay overnight in a historic lockhouse. Each Canal Quarter lockhouse has been furnished with furniture and accessories from a different time period, and each tells a different story about the development of the C&O Canal. This provides a unique experience at each lockhouse! There are 6 lockhouses along the canal. There’s one near each of the following locations: Clear Spring, Point of Rocks, Poolesville, Cabin John and Brookmont.
