This Weekend: Kids Participate in Tour de Frederick

Every year cycling enthusiasts join for Tour de Frederick. This year it's on August 11th.
There are a variety of events on Saturday & Sunday. Cyclists can choose from a variety of routes concluding with a Finish Line Party! Kids can participate too! From 8:45am to 9:45am kids can join in theThermo Fisher Scientific Kids Bike Rodeo.
Kids under the age of 12 can practice their bike handling skills and learn techniques to safely ride the roads through various drills and skill stations taught by trained volunteers.
This is a free event open to all kids. You do not need to be a registered rider to participate. If you are not registered, a parent/legal guardian will need to sign a waiver.
*The Kids Bike Rodeo will be held in the parking lot at the Fire Hall. A bike and a helmet is required!
